It’s the lightweight, quick-steering tool it’s always been but a new rigidity balance for the aluminium twin-spar frame ups high-speed stability in tough conditions, with completely new Showa™ suspension front and rear raising the game in terms of control and traction. And the awesome engine matches the chassis upgrade with more power, and even more precise throttle connection that delivers relentless, race-winning drive.
Racing Lines
Three constants guide CRF development; lightweight, mass concentration and rider ergonomics. And we’ve evolved the new CRF450R’s plastics to make it even easier to move where you want, when you want. The radiator shrouds covering the 6.3L titanium fuel tank offer smoother knee trajectory back and forward and everywhere around the bike race-minimal lines are clean and clear. Marking out a new model are fresh CRF family graphics and, for the first time, a Honda Wing sits up front on the mudguard.
